Man Killed in West Covina Crash on San Bernardino Road near Nora Avenue
West Covina, California (April 24, 2019) – A man was killed Wednesday evening in a traffic accident in West Covina, authorities reported.
The deadly crash happened at around 4:40 p.m. on San Bernardino Road, just west of Nora Avenue.
Authorities said a Honda sedan collided with a big rig for an unknown reason on San Bernardino Road. The Honda was wedged beneath the big rig as a result of the crash.
Fatal Big Rig and Car Accident in West Covina Wednesday
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the Honda driver, a man estimated to be in his mid-60s, to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been released pending notification of family.
The big rig driver was uninjured.
