Man Killed in Industry Bicycle Crash on 60 Freeway near Santa Anita Avenue
Industry, California (May 5, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday morning traffic accident that killed a male bicyclist in Industry.
The deadly accident transpired at about 8:15 p.m., on May 4, on Pomona (60) Freeway, just east of Santa Anita Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the male bicyclist was riding westbound in the eastbound lanes near the center divider when he began riding northbound across the freeway and was struck by a vehicle in the No. 2 lane.
The man was then hit by three other vehicles before coming to a rest in the No. 2 lane, the officials said.

Sadly, the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
