Redwood City, California (September 19, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after being injured in a pedestrian accident involving a police patrol car on Wednesday morning.

According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident happened at about 9:47 a.m. September 18, in the area of James Avenue and El Camino Real.

As per the report, the authorities were responding to reports of a home invasion in the 300 block of Poplar Avenue when an officer lost control of the patrol car and struck a man.
