Man Critically Injured in Plane Crash at Garberville Airport
48-Year-Old Garberville Man Hospitalized after Garberville Plane Accident at Garberville Airport

Garberville, California (May 28, 2019) – A 48-year-old Garberville man was critically injured when a plane crashed Sunday evening in Garberville, authorities said.
The crash was reported at around 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26 at the Garberville Airport.
According to the authorities, the Garberville man was practicing taking off and landing alone in his 1970’s era Cessna plane at the Garberville Airport when the plane’s engine lost power and crashed into trees.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital and was later transferred to an out-of-area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Flight Standards District Offices (FSDO) is investigating the accident.
