Motorcyclist Killed in Madera County Crash on Avenue 18 at Highway 99
Madera County, California (August 26, 2019) – A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a big rig Monday morning in Madera County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The fatal crash happened at around 10:31 a.m. on Avenue 18 at Highway 99.
As per the CHP report, the motorcyclist was driving down Avenue 18 when he pulled into the path of an oncoming big rig.

The rider died in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Authorities closed the eastbound lane as they investigated the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
