Minor Injuries Sustained in Madera Crash on Highway 99 near W Cleveland Avenue On-Ramp
Madera, California (May 24, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday afternoon on a highway in Madera, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup occurred at around 4:17 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, just north of W Cleveland Avenue on-ramp.
The report said seven vehicles collided under unclear circumstances.
A female party involved in the crash possibly went unconscious.
Paramedics responding to the scene said minor injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of patients, however, was not mentioned. It also remained unclear if any party was hospitalized.
Authorities are collecting more information to establish the cause of the collision.
