Major Injuries Sustained in Lynwood Car Collision on 710 Freeway near Imperial Highway
Lynwood, California (October 13, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a fiery multi-vehicle collision that happened early Sunday morning in Lynwood.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident happened at about 2:24 a.m. on southbound 710 Freeway, just north of Imperial Highway.
As per the report, five vehicles were involved in the collision. Three of the cars caught fire.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the accident. The number of patients, however, was not mentioned.
Tow trucks were needed to remove the vehicles from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
