Lynwood, CA: Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 105 Freeway
1 Person Killed in Lynwood Motorcycle Crash on 105 Freeway near Atlantic Avenue
Lynwood, California (February 14, 2021) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening in Lynwood, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident happened at about 8:47 p.m. on Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, west of Atlantic Avenue.
A motorcycle reportedly collided with a white sedan and other vehicles on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
One person sustained fatal injuries in the accident. It was not clear if the victim was the motorcyclist.
All eastbound traffic was shut down just west of Long Beach Boulevard, the CHP said.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
