Luis Sanchez ID’d as Man Killed in Rowland Heights Car Crash on Colima Road near Fairway Drive
Rowland Heights, California (February 10, 2021) – Authorities have identified the man who died following a traffic accident early Tuesday morning in Rowland Heights as Luis Antonio Sanchez, 21, of Montclair.
The deadly single-vehicle accident happened at about 3:14 a.m. Tuesday, February 9 on Colima Road, just west of Fairway Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Sanchez was driving a 2004 Nissan Altima eastbound on Colima Road at a high rate of speed when he veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The Nissan rebound upon the impact and came to rest in the No. 3 lane.

Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
