Luis Oliva-Mendez and Jessie Edica Killed in Motorcycle Accident on March Lane in Stockton

Stockton, California (November 9, 2020) – A man and an 11-year-old girl were killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in north Stockton on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened on West March Lane between Claremont and Pacific avenues shortly before midday.
A motorcycle was traveling westbound when it collided with an eastbound 2002 Toyota Sequoia that was making that was using a turn lane.
The motorcycle rider, 29-year-old Luis Oliva-Mendez, and 11-year-old Jessie Edica who was riding in the Toyota, were seriously injured and were transported to an area hospital where they died while undergoing treatment.
The 69-year-old woman driving the Toyota and a 6-year-old passenger were transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The Stockton Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the cause of the accident.
