Luis Cruz Injured in Gustine Car Crash on State Route 33 and Sullivan Road
Gustine, California (April 24, 2020) – Luis Cruz, 25, was injured in a fatal collision that occurred on Tuesday afternoon near Gustine, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened just before 4:30 p.m. April 21, on State Route 33 and Sullivan Road.
According to CHP, a 1996 Acura was traveling northbound on Highway 33 when it tried to make a left turn and collided with an oncoming 2017 Nissan driven by Cruz.
A San Jose man who was a passenger in the Acura was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cruz sustained minor injuries and declined medical aid.
The driver of the Acura was taken to Los Banos Memorial Hospital with a complaint of pain.
Authorities said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
The collision is under investigation.
