Lucia Trejo Killed after Ventura Pedestrian Accident at Victoria Avenue and Telephone Road
Ventura, California (March 26, 2019) – 54-year-old Lucia Trejo has been identified as the pedestrian killed after a traffic collision early Sunday morning in the area of Ventura, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, March 24, at Victoria Avenue and Telephone Road near the Ventura County Government Center.
As per the report, Trejo was hit by a vehicle at the intersection for unknown reasons.

Responding firefighters found the victim lying in the roadway with critical injuries. Trejo described by officials as homeless, was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center where she later died.
Authorities said that the involved driver stopped and cooperated with officials.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
