Rider Seriously Injured in Lucerne Valley Motorcycle Crash on Highway 247 near Fairlane Road
Lucerne Valley, California (November 23, 2020) – At least one person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that happened Sunday morning in Lucerne Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to the report, a black Harley Davidson Road King collided with another vehicle of unknown make and model at about 8:02 a.m. on Highway 247, just west of Fairlane Road.
One rider was down and attempting to get up from the ground after the crash. Another rider was up.
At least one rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
The report also said a dog involved in the crash was found possibly dead on the right-hand shoulder.
Traffic lanes were closed for an unknown duration following the accident.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
