Major Injuries Sustained in Highway 18 Truck Crash near Mile Marker 69 in Lucerne Valley
Lucerne Valley, California (April 2, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said major injuries were sustained when a truck collided with another vehicle Thursday morning in Lucerne Valley.
According to CHP, the vehicles collided at about 6:50 a.m. on Highway 18 near Mile Marker 69.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway after colliding head-on.
Responding paramedics said major injuries were suffered in the crash but did not mention the number of patients.
There were no other details available.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
