Lucerne Valley, California (July 16, 2021) – At least one person died in a car collision that took place Thursday night in Lucerne Valley.

The wreck happened at about 11:21 p.m. on Highway 247 near Parmeson Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Accord and a Chevrolet Suburban collided under unclear circumstances.

The vehicles were blocking the southbound lane of the highway after the collision.

At least one person was killed in the accident, and the coroner was required to respond to the scene.
