Louie Gomez ID’d as Man Killed in Rancho Cucamonga Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 near Baseline Avenue
Rancho Cucamonga, California (July 21, 2020) – Louie Gomez, 58, of Pomona, has been identified as the man who was killed in a pedestrian crash on Saturday night in Rancho Cucamonga, police said.
The deadly accident happened at about 11:58 p.m., on July 18, on Interstate15, south of Baseline Avenue.
Gomez was standing next to his vehicle, parked in the exit lane of Baseline Avenue, when, for unknown reasons, he was struck by a car that was traveling to the exit, the authorities said.

Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene at about 12:13 a.m.
Further details regarding the mishap were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
