2 Children Killed in Los Molinos Head-On Accident on Highway 99

Los Molinos, California (December 30, 2019) – Two children were killed in a head-on collision involving a big rig on Saturday noon in Los Molinos, a local news source reported.
The fatal collision took place on December 21, on Highway 99.
As per the report, a 2013 Honda Insight driven by an 18-year-old Chico man crossed into the southbound lane for unknown reasons and collided with a big rig head-on .
The driver of the big rig was later identified as 28-year-old Gurinder Singh Sekhon.
2 Children Killed After Car and Big Rig Crashed in Los Molinos
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after the crash and found two children unconscious.
The two kids were pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorist and a 27-year-old mother of the children suffered injuries in the crash.
The two victims were taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico by land ambulance for treatment of major trauma.
Meanwhile, the identities of both the deceased and the injured victims remain unknown to this time.
The operator of the big rig appeared uninjured following the crash.
The investigation is underway.
