1 Dies after Los Gatos Car Crash on Highway 17 near South Santa Cruz Avenue
Santa Clara County, California (March 24, 2020) – One person was declared dead following a multi-car collision early Tuesday morning in Los Gatos, Santa Clara County.
The deadly collision was logged at about 2:55 a.m. on southbound Highway 17, just south of South Santa Cruz Avenue on-ramp.
Authorities said that several cars crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and declared one person dead at the crash site. The name of the deceased was not immediately released awaiting notification of next of kin.
To give way to an on-scene investigation, officials blocked all southbound lanes of Highway 17. Authorities re-opened one lane at about 5:00 a.m.
