Man Sustains Serious Injuries in Los Angeles Pedestrian Crash at 61st and Broadway Streets

Los Angeles, California (January 6, 2021) – A male party was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in an alleged violent hit-and-run pedestrian accident at an intersection in Los Angeles Sunday night, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The 10:00 p.m. collision happened at the intersection of 61st and Broadway Streets on January 3.
A man was hit by a 2000 to 2010 four-door beige sedan while crossing the street against the “Don’t Walk” signal.
Due to the impact, the sedan, with a sunroof, acquired possible damage to the hood front end while the male party was thrown into the air before landing on the street.
The involved motorist stopped briefly but then continued to drive northbound on Broadway after the wreck.
LAPD Searching For South LA Hit-And-Run Driver
The victim was hospitalized with critical injuries but was listed in stable condition.
