Los Angeles, CA: Pedestrian Hit, Seriously Injured by Car on 5 Freeway
1 Hospitalized after Los Angeles Pedestrian Crash on 5 Freeway and Highway 2
Los Angeles, California (September 15, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and seriously injured by a car Monday evening on 5 Freeway in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
CHP said at about 6:31 p.m., a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the northbound lanes of the freeway to the northbound Highway 2 Connector.
At the time of the report, it was not clear how the accident happened.
First responders found the pedestrian awake and conscious but with serious injuries. An ambulance was requested to transport the victim to the hospital.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
