Man Dies in Central City Motorcycle Accident on Harbor (110) Freeway near Exposition Boulevard

Los Angeles, California (May 3, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night in a traffic crash in the Central City neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 7:45 p.m. Sunday, May 2, the authorities received a report about the accident on the northbound side of Harbor (110) Freeway, just south of Exposition Boulevard.
The CHP said a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle was involved in the crash. Details on what led up to the accident at this time are unknown.
Deadly Solo-Motorcycle Accident on 110 Freeway in Los Angeles
First responders arrived at the location and found the motorcyclist face down on the highway. According to the CHP, the rider, only identified as a 42-year-old man, sustained major injuries and died at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The northbound Harbor Freeway at Exposition Boulevard was blocked for over two hours following the wreck. As of 10:00 p.m., the road was reopened.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
