At Least 1 Severely Injured in Los Angeles Car Crash on Interstate 110 near Slauson Avenue
Los Angeles, California (February 8, 2021) – Authorities are investigating after at least one person was seriously injured in a traffic crash Monday afternoon in Los Angeles.
The collision occurred at about 5:09 p.m. on southbound Interstate 110, just north of Slauson Avenue.
As per the report, a silver Toyota Camry and a black Nissan Pathfinder collided, blocking the No. 1 lane.
One of the cars caught fire and got fully engulfed after the impact.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the incident to find at least one person with severe injuries. Details about the condition of the patient and where they were transported for treatment were not available.
CHP is investigating to establish factors that may have contributed to the accident.
