South Los Angeles, California (February 14, 2020) – One person was killed after a pedestrian crash that happened at an intersection on Thursday night, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred at the Crenshaw Boulevard and 29th Street at about 8:00 p.m. February 13.

As per the report, a pedestrian was walking in the area when they were hit by a vehicle for reasons yet to be determined.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and declared the pedestrian dead due to the collision. The name of the victim was not immediately released.

Officials did not say if the involved driver remained at the scene or fled the scene after the crash.

Authorities closed the roadway briefly as a result of the crash.
