Los Angeles, CA: 2 Hospitalized After 2 Semi-Trucks Crash on 5 Freeway Near Highway 110

Los Angeles, California (August 6, 2020) – At least one person was trapped after two semi-trucks collided Tuesday afternoon in downtown Los Angeles.

 The collision took place at approximately 12:30 p.m., August 4, on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Highway 110. 

As per the report, the big rigs crashed in the interstate’s southbound lanes for undetermined reasons.

At Least 1 Trapped After Los Angeles Truck Accident on 5 Freeway 

Due to the impact, at least one person was pinned inside one of the involved vehicles. The victim was rescued by firefighters who arrived at the scene shortly after the mishap.

Diesel Fuel reportedly spilled along the highway following the wreck.

Two people, including the trapped victim, were rushed to an area hospital by paramedics for further medical aid.

The accident resulted in the closure of all the southbound lanes of 5 Freeway at SR-110 as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
