Lori Soto and Joshua Andrews Fatal Oildale Accident on China Grade Loop and Manor Street
Kern County, CA: (February 14, 2019) – Police have identified two people who were killed in a two-vehicle collision on Monday night in Oildale.
Lori Sue Soto, 32, and Joshua James Andrews, 27, died in the accident that was reported at about 9:30 p.m. February 11, on China Grade Loop and Manor Street.
According to a local news source, Soto and Andrew were in a Dodge Charger traveling east on China Grade Loop when the driver ran a red light. A Dodge Ram pickup struck the Dodge Charger at the intersection of Manor Street.
Soto and Andrew were ejected from the Dodge Charger as it was cut in half by the impact of the crash.
The two were confirmed dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup was hospitalized with moderate injuries. The name and the condition of the injured victim were not given immediately.
The crash remains under investigation.
