2 Seriously Injured in Longvale Car Accident at Highway 101 and Highway 162
Longvale, California (October 11, 2020) – Major injuries were reported Saturday morning following a head-on crash at an intersection in Longvale, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The major-injury collision happened at around 11:16 a.m. Saturday, October 10, at the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 162.
As per the CHP report, a white sedan collided head-on with a Nissan at the Longvale intersection for an undetermined reason.
After the impact, the sedan veered off the roadway and crashed down a steep embankment.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one party who was trapped in the white sedan.
The freed person and the occupant of the Nissan were transported to Howard Hospital with major injuries. Their names and conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
