Injuries Reported in Long Beach Crash on 605 Freeway at Willow Street
Long Beach California (September 17, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck early Tuesday morning in Long Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 1 a.m. on southbound 605 Freeway at Willow Street.
CHP said a semi-truck collided with a car and overturned. The big rig’s engine fell out into the freeway and was hit by another car.

Some people involved in the crash were transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the big rig declined medical attention.
All lanes of the freeway were closed at Willow Street as the scene was cleared.
The CHP is working to determine the cause of the crash.
