Possible Injuries in Long Beach Multi-Vehicle Accident on 405 Freeway
Long Beach, California (July 23, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in Long Beach Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The multi-vehicle crash, which was reported at about 7:15 a.m. July 23, occurred on the Interstate 405 Freeway, just north of Woodruff Avenue.
The accident involved a Toyota Prius, silver Honda Accord, a black Honda hatchback, and a red Honda Civic which collided in the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway for unknown reasons.

It was not clear the exact number of the victims injured in the crash. At least two of the vehicles involved needed a tow truck to remove them from the scene of the accident.
The cause of the accident is still under an active investigation.
