Long Beach, California (June 28, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a traffic collision involving a motorbike and a vehicle in Long Beach Friday morning.

The crash was reported at about 11:36 a.m. June 28, on 405 Freeway near 710 Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol report showed that the motorcycle crashed into the back of a vehicle in the HOV lane of the Interstate 405 Freeway for unknown reasons. Due to the impact, the rider went down in the HOV lane and the bike in the No. 1 lane.

The injured party was attended to by the Long Beach Fire Department. The extent of the injuries suffered, and the name of the victim has not yet been released to this time. At least one ambulance was sent off at the scene of the accident.

Two cars and a motorbike were blocking the HOV lane after the wreck, but ultimately they were all pulled over to the right shoulder.

No further details have been released regarding the crash to this time.
