Long Beach, California (June 19, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Friday evening on a freeway in Long Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident transpired at around 6:10 p.m. on southbound 605 Freeway, just north of 405 Freeway.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, the report said.
Authorities said at least one person suffered major injuries in the accident, and an ambulance was sent to the scene to take the victim to the hospital.
CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
