40-Year-Old Man Killed in Long Beach Truck Accident at Technology Place and Pacific Coast Highway
Long Beach, California (September 28, 2020) – A traffic collision involving a tractor-trailer in the area of Long Beach, early Saturday morning, left a 40-year-old Long Beach man dead.
The fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on Pacific Coast Highway, just west of Technology Place, at approximately 12:15 a.m.
As per the report, a pickup truck driven by the Long Beach man, at a high rate of speed, rear-ended the tractor-trailer in the westbound lanes of the highway in the morning hours.
The initial report showed that the tractor-trailer had just started to travel through the intersection after the light had turned green prior to the collision.

The unidentified male pickup truck operator died at an area hospital where he was admitted after the mishap.
An investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
