Minor Injuries Sustained in Long Beach Crash on 405 Freeway near Pacific Avenue
Long Beach, California (August 26, 2020) – Minor injuries were sustained in a fiery traffic crash involving a big rig Tuesday morning on 405 Freeway in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol reported.
CHP said a semi-truck overturned and caught fire after colliding with a black Toyota Camry and a silver Subaru WRX at about 11:11 a.m.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes just north of Pacific Avenue.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that minor injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of victims was, however, not mentioned.
All vehicles were towed away from the scene with crash damage.
CHP is investigating the crash.
