Pedestrian Critically Injured in Logan Heights Crash at S. Bancroft Street and Ocean View Boulevard

Logan Heights, California (October 12, 2019) – A 61-year-old male party was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision early Friday morning in Logan Heights, according to San Diego police.
The crash happened at around 5:45 a.m. on S. Bancroft Street and Ocean View Boulevard.
Police said a male pedestrian was hit at the intersection by a driver who fled the scene after the incident.
Man Injured in Logan Heights Pedestrian Crash
The man sustained a fractured spine and a broken leg injury in the crash. He was attended to by Paramedics and then immediately transported to a hospital for treatment.
The crash caused a closure of the intersection shortly as the scene was investigated.
The crash remained under investigation.
