Logan Edwards Killed in Moreno Valley Collision at Day Street and Bay Avenue
Moreno Valley, California (May 27, 2021) – Logan Edwards, 17, of Winchester has been identified as the teen who died in a traffic crash in Moreno Valley Wednesday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident happened at around 3:09 p.m. May 26, at Day Street and Bay Avenue.
A 2014 Toyota Corolla traveling eastbound on Bay Avenue at a high rate of speed failed to stop for a posted stop sign at Day Street and slammed into the driver’s side of a 2012 Ford Edge driven by Edwards.
Logan Edwards Killed in Moreno Valley Crash
Edwards was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
