Possible Fatality Reported Lodi Train Accident on W Woodridge Road near N Ray Road
Lodi, California (September 14, 2019) – Authorities said a train collided with a vehicle Friday night in Lodi resulting in a possible fatality.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:15 p.m. in the 5300 block of W Woodridge Road, just west of the intersection with N Ray Road.
As per the report, a BNSF train collided with a car of unknown make and model for unknown reasons.
The car was down-slopped on an embankment near the rail tracks after the crash.
Authorities said one person was possibly killed in the collision. It was not clear if any other person was injured.
The crash is under an active investigation by the authorities.
