Liz Hutch Injured in Fresno County Crash on Highway 41 and Harlan Avenue near Caruthers
Fresno County, California (August 21, 2019) – Liz Hutch was injured in a fatal collision that happened earlier this month at an intersection in Fresno County, according to a local news source.
The fatal accident took place at about 8:50 p.m. Friday, August 2 on Highway 41 and Harlan Avenue near Caruthers.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver in a gray Kia Sportage (midsize SUV) tried to make a legal passing on the two-lane highway and collided head-on with a vehicle occupied by Liz and his family.

The driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene.
Liz, his wife and three children were taken to a hospital for treatment minor-to-major injuries.
A Good Samaritan who witnessed the crash pulled over to assist the crash victims. She was then struck by another car, which ended up colliding head-on with an 18-wheeler.
The Good Samaritan was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
