At Least 1 Injured after Livermore Crash on Altamont Pass Road near Carroll Road
Livermore, California (February 23, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a head-on collision early Saturday morning in the area of Livermore, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 4:14 a.m. Saturday, on eastbound Altamont Pass Road, just east of Carroll Road.
As per the officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. The vehicles were blocking eastbound lanes following the collision.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. The victim’s names and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were sent to the scene to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
All lanes were opened as of 4:42 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
