At Least 1 Seriously Hurt in Lindsay Crash on Highway 65 at Avenue 208

Lindsay, California (July 15, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Lindsay, the California Highway Patrol said.
The t-bone crash took place at around 1:35 p.m. on Highway 65 at Avenue 208.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. A light pole was also struck in the rash.
One person was trapped inside one of the cars. Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the victim. That person sustained serious injuries in the accident.
An air ambulance was requested to the scene to transport the patient to the hospital.
Caltrans was required to respond for the downed pole.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
