Injuries Possibly Reported in Linden Head-on Collision on Highway 26 near Fine Road
Linden, Ca (June 30, 2020) – Possible injuries were sustained following a head-on collision that occurred in Linden Tuesday afternoon.
The 2:55 p.m. crash took place on Highway 26 at North Fine Road, a local news source reported.
As per the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle of unspecified make and built swerved off into oncoming traffic and slammed head-on into a public works truck.
Due to the impact, the vehicle caught fire while the truck leaked diesel fluid on the highway.
All involved parties were attended to by medical personnel who responded at the scene shortly after the wreck.
Limited details regarding the mishap were released at the time of the report.
The CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
