Leroy Jensen ID’d as 75-Year-Old Man Killed in Riverside County Crash on Canyon Lake Drive near Sloop Drive
Riverside County, California (April 17, 2021) – Leroy Jensen, 75, has been identified as the man who was killed in a Friday night traffic accident in Riverside County, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.
The deadly accident occurred at about 8:15 p.m., on April 16, on Canyon Lake Drive near Sloop Drive.
According to the officials, a vehicle driven by Jensen was heading eastbound on the roadway when it crashed into multiple parked vehicles and residences.
Following the collision, the vehicle reportedly flipped over and landed on its side, trapping Jensen inside.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated Jensen from the wreckage. Jensen allegedly suffered a medical emergency prior to the collision.
Jensen sustained major injuries in the accident and was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
One other person sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
