Leonardo Molina Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Collision at Marks Avenue and Sussex Way

Fresno, California (February 3, 2020) – The man who was killed in an accident where he was hit by  a vehicle at an intersection in central Fresno on Thursday evening has been identified as Leonardo Molina, 90, of Fresno, according to the authorities.

According to Fresno police, the crash took place in the area of Marks Avenue and Sussex Way at about 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30.

Police said Molina was trying to cross the street when he was hit by a driver who was making a left turn.

Leonardo Molina Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident

Molina was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The involved driver stayed at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.

According to Fresno police, alcohol and drugs did not play any role in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
