Leonard Tarver Struck, Killed by Vehicle on South Normandie Avenue in Harbor City
Leonard Tarver ID’d as Man Killed in Harbor City Pedestrian Accident on South Normandie Avenue
Harbor City, California (February 11, 2019) – Authorities have identified the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday evening in Harbor City as Leonard Tarver, 59, of Harbor City.
The deadly accident occurred at around 6:26 p.m. Saturday, February 9 in the 25513 block of South Normandie Avenue.
According to the authorities, Tarver was attempting to cross the street outside of a crosswalk when for an unknown reason he was hit by an unspecified vehicle.
The driver involved stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
Tarver was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
The crash remains under investigation by the authorities.
