Bradley, California (December 6, 2020) – Leona Frances Young, 78, of Bradley, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a rollover crash on Saturday evening in Oak Shores, Bradley, the CHP said.

The deadly single-vehicle accident occurred in the 2600 block of Captains Walk, on December 5.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade, driven by Young, was headed westbound on private property on Captains Walk when it swerved to the left, went off the roadway, and rolled down a steep embankment.

Young, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected onto a concrete driveway, the officials said.

Sadly, Young was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
