Man Killed in Highway 94 Pedestrian Crash near College Avenue in Lemon Grove
Lemon Grove, California (September 20, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that happened Wednesday night in Lemon Grove leaving a man dead.
The incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of Highway 94 near College Avenue.
Travis Garrow, a California Highway Patrol Officer said a man was attempting to cross northbound across the highway when he was struck by a 2010 Nissan Altima. The driver of the car, a 27-year-old woman, had swerved to the left to avoid hitting the man but was unable. Four or five other vehicles also struck the man after the initial collision.
First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the crash scene.

Authorities continue investigating the accident.
