1 Injured in Lebec Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Hungry Valley Road
Newhall, California (May 4, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a collision that left at least one person injured in Newhall on Monday evening.
The accident happened along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Hungry Valley Road at about 5:27 p.m. May 3.
The authorities who responded to the incident located two vehicles at the scene of the accident. Although the manner in which the accident happened was yet to be established, the impact of the collision caused one of the cars to overturn onto its roof.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
