Arvin, California (December 8, 2020) – At least two people were killed after a stolen car crashed early Tuesday morning near Arvin in Kern County, according to a local news source.
The incident began when police were chasing a car that was reported stolen from the Los Angeles Area earlier in the night. The authorities lost track of the car and canceled the pursuit.
At around 1:00 a.m., the stolen car crashed into a water drain and burst into flames, the California Highway Patrol reported.

At least two occupants of the car were pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the victims have not been disclosed pending notification of their families.
