At Least 1 Dies in Valley Center Car Accident at Valley Center Road and Round Tree Road
Valley Center, California (August 4, 2019) – At least one person was killed Sunday evening in a traffic accident in Valley Center, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at around 4:25 p.m. at the intersection of Valley Center Road and Round Tree Road.
According to the CHP, a pickup truck hauling a trailer collided with a motorcycle for an unknown reason at the Valley Center intersection.
At least one person died in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
It was immediately unclear if there were other injuries.
As of 7:07 p.m., the intersection was clear.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
