Lara Johnson, Gabriela Herrera Injured in Morongo Valley Collision Wednesday Night
Morongo Valley, California (June 18, 2021) – Two people were transported to a hospital following a car crash in Morongo Valley Wednesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at about 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16. The exact scene of the accident was not mentioned in the report.
CHP said a blue 1998 Dodge Ram, driven by Frank Herrera, 20, of Joshua Tree, was heading eastbound when it made a left turn to enter the Circle-K gas station and was hit by a 2017 Silver Honda Civic, driven by Lara Johnson, 32 of Palm Desert, who was traveling westbound.

Johnson and one of the two passengers in the Dodge, Gabriela Herrera, 23, of Joshua Tree, were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center after complaining of pain.
All parties involved were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
