LAPD Officer Injured in Los Angeles Accident at Winston Street and Wall Street
Los Angeles, California (May 18, 2021) – An LAPD officer riding a motorcycle was struck and injured by a vehicle at an intersection in Los Angeles on Sunday night, according to the authorities.
The officer was riding a motorcycle southbound on Wall Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Winston Street.
The accident occurred at about 10:55 p.m. May 16.
LAPD Officer Injured in Los Angeles Motorcycle Accident
The officer was transported to a hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department. Authorities said the officer had serious hand injuries.
Witnesses told the authorities that the white sedan that hit the officer may have ran through the stop sign.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
