Devonte Tyler Struck and Killed by Vehicle at Avenue J-8 and Sierra Highway in Lancaster
Lancaster, California (November 26, 2020) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has identified 27-year-old Devonte Tyler as the male party who died following a pedestrian accident Sunday night at an intersection in Lancaster.
The fatal crash was reported shortly before 9:40 p.m., November 22, at Avenue J-8 and Sierra Highway.
Tyler, who was reportedly entering the highway at Avenue J-8, was struck by a mid-size sedan driven by a female party south on Sierra Highway.
The sedan operator stopped after hitting Tyler and cooperated with the law.

Despite life-saving measures, Tyler was declared dead at the crash site.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more details to determine the cause of the accident.
